Our Reforestation Efforts

We believe that being good stewards of what we have been given is important. Leaving the next generation with an environment that is healthy is all of our responsibility. We also feel that burning of firewood should not only be done in a clean way, but that we should also help support reforestation efforts. A tree growing old and dying is a natural part of nature, we just need to make sure that there are always new ones being planted to replace those that get old and die, or get destroyed by forest fires nationwide.

We have selected the National Arbor Day Foundation as the group that can do the most with our donations.

We have pledged to plant one new tree for every Woodhaven® Firewood Rack we sell, and are encouraging firewood vendors to also make a donation for every cord of wood they sell.

We also encourage you, the consumer to make just a small donation every year; you can buy a tree, or some other cool items. Or you can just write a small check or pay by credit card.

If we all work together, we can make a big difference!
